Working within a restricted budget the design objective was to produce a high quality interior with inexpensive materials. Both floor and cabinets are made from medium density fiberboard. Drawing from our experience in the fine arts, we mixed artist acrylic pigment with polyurethane to develop a rich and luminous finish enabling an ordinary material to express an extraordinary quality.
