The kitchen was relocated from a small dark space to the previous dining room which directly connects to the living room and back yard. The existing windows, fire place, wood flooring, wall paneling, and chandelier were left in-tact. The new modern kitchen cabinets were inserted as free standing objects into the existing space. The refrigerator and food storage is housed in a separate pantry in order to keep the space uncluttered.
